People keep complaining about Depositefiles, Easyshare, Uploading.com, etc., but they obviously don't realize that others get downloads as fast, or faster, from these file sharing services as from Rapidshare. I don't have a subscription to any of these file sharing services and in many instances I'm fortunate enough to get fast service from all of them. (Actually, the first three almost always beat Rapidshare, because of Rapidshare's intentionally limited transfer rate and download limits for free download users. However, sometimes during the evening, my time, Rapidshare seems to increase their transfer speed for free users, also.)

The nice thing about having several mirrors is that I can download different files from more than one service at a time. Otherwise, if I exceed the transfer limit I have to wait for the time delay to expire before resuming downloads from Rapidshare, Easyshare, or Depositfiles.

If people have trouble downloading from one service or the other I am sorry to hear that, but having fewer mirrors is not the answer. I say, the more mirrors the merrier! It would be nice if the original posters would allow mirrors if the mirrors do not duplicate the file services. However, I understand why many posters might not want to permit that option.
