Osman ist ein unbescholtener Bürger Anfang fünfzig. Er hat fünf Kinder, arbeitet als Fabrikschlosser und träumt davon, eines Tages einen Gemüseladen zu besitzen. Außer daß er mit der »zweitgrößten Nervensäge des Mittleren Orients« verheiratet ist und gelegentlich mit Skinheads über den Unterschied zwischen »Türken« und »Kanaken« diskutieren muß, hat er keine Probleme. Bis eines Tages ein Brief von der Ausländerbehörde eintrifft: Er soll abgeschoben werden.

Das ist natürlich absurd – schließlich ist er vor mehr als dreißig Jahren als Gastarbeiter in die Bundesrepublik gekommen und sollte demnächst die deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft erhalten. Aber Frau Kottzmeyer-Göbelsberg von der Ausländerbehörde kann ihm nur bestätigen, daß er laut Akte innerhalb einer Woche das Land zu verlassen habe. Jetzt ist jedes Mittel recht: Scheinehe, Barrikade vor der Wohnung, Bestechungsversuche. Aber selbst Massendemonstrationen und die Besetzung eines Atomkraftwerks bleiben ohne Wirkung.

Mit unerschöpflicher Komik treibt der Autor das Geschehen von einem grotesken Höhepunkt zum nächsten. Schriller, witziger und politisch unkorrekter kann man mit dem brisanten Thema »Deutschland und seine Ausländer« nicht umgehen.
