More US Destroyers in Action, vol. 4 By Al Adcock This is the forth and last title in the series covering US Navy Destroyers designed and built from the beginning of the 20th Century to the end of World War Two. The destroyer was the most widely constructed warship in the US Naval Register, and built in many classes that spanned over 50 years. The 'tin can' was - and is - the most revered of all ships due to the many different combat roles that the destroyer is called upon to perform. Since 1900, over 1500 destroyers (DD) and destroyer escorts (DE) have been built and commissioned into service. Do you have pt1?
