More Linux im Netzwerk Dieses Handbuch ist Ihr praxisorientierter Leitfaden zum Linux-basierten Betrieb aller relevanten Netzwerkdienste in einem heterogenen Netzwerk.Die Autoren führen Sie in drei Stufen zum Aufbau und Betrieb eines heterogenen Netzes: vom einfachen, lokalen Netzwerk mit wenigen Diensten über das kleine hin zum großen Netzwerk mit vielen Diensten. Auf dem Weg beleuchten die Autoren alle wichtigen Aspekte wie Hardware (verkabelt/kabellos), Kommunikation über Plattformgrenzen hinweg (Samba), Namensauflösung (DNS), Filesharingdienste (NFS/NIS), Druckdienste (CUPS), Verzeichnisdienste (LDAP) sowie die klassischen Internetdienste Mail, Web und FTP. Ein Fokus des Buches liegt auf dem Thema Sicherheit (Einrichtung einer Firewall, verschlüsselter Netzwerkverkehr mit SSL und grundlegende Methoden der Einbruchserkennung)
