Translated in English, French, Arabic and Farsi (Persian)

Barnabas, apostle of Jesus the Nazarene, called Christ, to all them that dwell upon the earth desireth peace and consolation.

Dearly beloved the great and wonderful God hath during these past days visited us by his prophet Jesus Christ in great mercy of teaching and miracles, by reason whereof many, being deceived of Satan, under presence of piety, are preaching most impious doctrine, calling Jesus son of God, repudiating the circumcision ordained of God for ever, and permitting every unclean meat: among whom also Paul hath been deceived, whereof I speak not without grief; for which cause I am writing that truth which I have seen and heard, in the intercourse that I have had with Jesus, in order that ye may be saved, and not be deceived of Satan and perish in the judgment of God. Therefore beware of every one that preacheth unto you new doctrine contrary to that which I write, that ye may be saved eternally. The great God be with you and guard you from Satan and from every evil. Amen.

This is a fake gospel written most probably by a catholic convert to islam in the middle ages..The writer makes errors in the geography of palestine and everyday life events in the middle east.It is in conflict both with the gospels (the recognized ones) and even the islamic koran...

To the sender: would you accept publishing books in arabic attaking your creed and accusing your prophet of being a lier?? If not,do not disseminate such fake nonsense

this looks interesting....

yeah, instead of Islam, Catholic church ir the symbol of piety and piecefulness... All the crusades and other mass extinctions and wars in the name of their god were initiated by infidels and Catholic church in its beneficence peacefully submitted to the will of their god who sent over them such test of faith... AND THEY SUCCEEDED! infidels died by millions from it!

"This is a fake gospel written most probably by a catholic convert to islam in the middle ages"

Actually, it isn't. Do some investigating before making ignorant statements.

@Nokios

Instead of saying that this is a fake gospel and give us your uninvited ideas regarding religion, let people read and decide for themselves whether it is fake or not, just mind your own business

Barnabus makes a valid point concerning the relations between Jesus and God. Look at it mathematically.

As professor David Benjamin Keldani, former Roman Catholic Bishop of the Uniate Chaldean, tells us in "The Bible's Last Prophet":

"Mathematics as a positive science teaches us that a unit is no more nor less than one; that one is never equal to one plus one plus one; in other words, one cannot be equal to three, because one is the third of the three. In the same way, one is not equal to a third. And vice versa, three are not equal to one, nor can a third be equal to a unit. The unit is the basis of all numbers, and a standard for the measurements and weights of all dimensions, distances, quantities and time. In fact, all numbers are aggregates of the unit 1. Ten is an aggregate of so many equal units of the same kind.

Those who maintain the unity of God in the trinity of persons tell us that "each person is omnipotent, omnipresent, eternal and perfect God; yet there are not three omnipotent, omnipresent, eternal and perfect Gods, but one omnipotent . . . God!" If there is no sophistry in the above reasoning then we shall present this "mystery" of the churches by an equation:.

God = 1 God 1 God 1 God; therefore: 1 God = 3 Gods. In the first place, one god cannot equal three gods, but only one of them. Secondly, since you admit each person to be perfect God like His two associates, your conclusion that 1 1 1 = 1 is not mathematical, but an absurdity!

You are either too arrogant when you attempt to prove that three units equal one unit; or too cowardly to admit that three ones equal three ones. In the former case you can never prove a wrong solution of a problem by a false process; and in the second you have not the courage to confess your belief in three gods.

Besides, we all - Muslims and Christians - believe that God is Omnipresent, that He fills and encompasses every space and particle. Is it conceivable that all the three persons of the Deity at the same time and separately encompass the universe, or is it only one of them at the time? To say "the Deity does this" would be no answer at all. For Deity is not God, but the state of being God, and therefore a quality.

Godhead is the quality of one God; it is not susceptible of plurality nor of diminution. There are no godheads but one Godhead, which is the attribute of one God alone."

Guys - islam, christian, buddist, wiccan, etc - ALL FAIRY STORIES

It's all fine to believe that a magic pixie or whatever made the world but don't get so damn upset about your little stories... sheesh... and to think you all want to kill each other over bloody fairy stories... sigh :|

To Mr Something...

What is truly arrogant is asserting and affirming how God should be or should not be.You are trying to apply mathematical rules to the Creator of the whole universe and the creator of mathematics...This is what I call foolish ARROGANCE.

If He pleases to be in himself, one two or three it is not your modest brain that will refuse Him what He pleases.

By believing in an omnipotent God,you believe that He has the power to be and to do everything, including being three in one...

You can choose not to believe...It is your left...But the moment you believe in a God outstanding in intelligence and power, you have to assume that He is much greater than your "rational" thinking..

Again,I respect those who refuse the idea of a god...but I cannot understand those who believe in a god, then paradoxically put limits to His will and think they know better than him.

If God (in the christian faith) teaches that He is Trinity, who are you,Mr. something to say "No you cannot be likewise!!"..This is pure nonsense and arrogance..

@ bolbol48

You do not answer my offer to publish the books you will not like at all regarding a certain "prophet"...

Do you ,in the countries you control, allow the teachings that contradict the "State Religion" ?.....Please learn to treat the others the way you want them to treat you.

Then,I did not prevent anybody from downloading (in certain countries_you know which_half of the internet sites are blocked by the state religious authorities ...)

You want me to keep what I say to myself...Your intervention here is only to tell me : "Do not give your opinion about this book"

This is simply not the way free people behave.I have the perfect left to say what I know is true and you have no left whatsoever to tell me what to say or what not to say...

Radwan Essayyed,a well known moslem scholar and professor of islamic studies in the Beirout University states:

The low-cultured (and even some of the moderately-cultured !!) moslems are very happy with the so-called Barnaba Gospel because it seems to go with their convictions....BUT, there are over 50 phrases directly translated from the Kuran in this book showing that it was written by a moslem (islam appeared over 640 years after Christ)....The translator presented this book to Rachid Reda as a way to attack christianity...

And the christian scholar (theologist and professor of arabic and islamic studies) Georges Khodr clearly explains that this book was without any doubt, written by an italian convert to islam around the 16th century i.e. 1600 years after Barnaba himself lived !!!

Both scholars agree that the book is a forgery...

@Nokios

"What is truly arrogant is asserting and affirming how God should be or should not be"

This is pretty much what you go on to do later on in your post.

"...Creator of the whole universe and the creator of mathematics."

Everything that needs to be said, is said in this phrase. God hasn't blessed us with intellect and reason for kicks. The human mind, as weak, fragile and limited as it is, cannot in any way comprehend God as a Transcendent Absolute, but can in fact know Him as a Manifest Absolute through his Creation (the things He created), including, as you say, math.

Saying that 1 1 1=3 not 1 does not attempt in any way to impose limits on He that is not limited, but simply putting reason and logic that God gave to use.

I don't mind what you believe in, you're entitled to it, and I'll never answer for your belief, nor will you for mine. I know what I believe in, and I have no conflict between reason/logic and belief.

However, the fact of the matter is, if mankind rejected reason and logic for the sake of dogma that is not compliant with them, it would still be living in the dark ages.

Whether the Gospel of Barnabus is a fake or not is irrelevant to this matter, but since it all started with him, I'll stop.

Oh, and those books you mention, you'd know they were based on lies, malignant hearsay, distortion of truth, taking of statements outside their context, etc., if you really knew the Testament, which prophesizes (and I know you love prophecies) the coming of the final prophet who, as facts tell us, was not Isa a.s. (Jesus). Even extremely loose criteria, such as those used by Christian theologists to verify Jesus as the prophesized one, show any of the prophets between Mousa a.s. (Moses) and Isa a.s. as more plausible candidates for the prophecy, while Mohammad a.s., who came after Isa a.s., fits most of the criteria of all messengers/prophets that came after Mousa a.s.

study more before saying it's fake

PLEASE READ THE BOOK WITHOUT ANY PREJUDGMENT.I PUT IT ONLY FOR ITS NICE MEANINGS OF MORALS.IF YOU READ THE BOOK YOU WISH IT WOULD NOT BE ENDED!AFTER READING YOU WILL GET GOOD RESULT.I ACCEPT SOME DISPROPORTIONS IN IT WITH KORAN AND ISLAMIC LITERATURE.BUT IT IS UNIQUE MORALLY.
