More Albatros DIII (Windsock Datafile 1) By Raymond Laurence Rimell WHAT more appropriate subject could there be to initiate a new range of WW1 aviation titles from Albatros Productions, Ltd., than the ever-popular Albatros DIM single seat fighter? This WIND-SOCK DATAFILE is the first volume in what is intended to become a long-running series of booklets aimed primarily at modellers but also produced with a view to attracting more general enthusiasts with an interest in World War One aeroplanes. Although, initially at least, the subjects may not be new, the treatment is decidedly original with specially-commissioned scale drawings designed as a self-contained four page pull-out, carefully researched colour profiles and a comprehensive collection of photographs chosen mainly for their detail and rarity.
