晚清名医张伯龙
张伯龙，清光绪时太医院御医、琼岛知府，原名张士让，蓬莱县（今蓬莱市）城里西街人。光绪初在太医院执医，有国手之称。张伯龙出身宦门，天资聪敏，精通文史，但青年时不求做官，潜心钻求医术，颇多成就。某年其父患病，病象危急，多次请名医诊断，都说无法可医。张伯龙精心疗理，奇方排难，终使其父痊愈。张一生著述医书多部，有《内经释义》、《本草问答》、《张伯龙医案》等，尤其于清光绪三十年（1904）发表的《》一书轰动整个医坛，书中所述治疗“中风”需镇肝、息风、养水之说，系学术上的创论，把中风之病因学和治疗水平推进了一大步。晚年去琼岛（海南岛）任知府，居官事繁，仍行医济人不止，直至病故。 张伯龙的著述至今仍为中医界所重视。他的医术非常高，曾经是老佛爷的御医。
