More Thomas Joos, "Windows Vista Business Kompendium: Installation, Netzwerke, Praxistipps" Rezension Bei diesem Buch handelt es sich um eine ausführliche Informationsquelle für Benutzer die Vista in Unternehmen einsetzen. Auch wer Vista zuhause nutzt wird von den vielen professionellen Tipps in diesen Buch profitieren. Mich als Admin haben die Ausführen zum Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK), die neuen Gruppenrichtlinien und die ausführlichen Anleitungen für Vista im Netzwerk ebenfalls sehr interessiert. Das Buch kommt ohne viel blabla aus. Die ganzen Multimedia-Spielereien werden zwar erklärt, aber der Autor macht Gott sein dank keine Orgie daraus, sondern behandelt die Themen die wirklich interessant sind sehr ausführlich. Alleine die Sicherheitseinstellungen werden auf weit über 100 Seiten erläutert. Netzwerk und Internet sind hervorragend erklärt. Zusatztools werden ebenfalls besprochen. Für mich das derzeit einzige vernünftige Buch über Vista in Unternehmen. Im Buch werden auch die ganzen Ultimate-Funktionen erläutert,was mir sehr entgegenkommt, da ich selbst Ultimate auf der Workstation habe. Wer sich mit den Internas von Vista auseinandersetzen will und schon einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf Longhorn Server braucht, ist mit diesem Buch hervorragend bedient.
