More Wehrmacht Camouflage Uniforms and Post-war Derivatives By Daniel Peterson In no other country has camouflaged clothing been so extensively used, and in such great diversity of patterns and styles, as in Germany. For the first time, US Army museum curator Dan Peterson traces the evolution and development of the camouflage uniforms of the German armed forces by means of colour photographs of one of the world's most extensive collections of original examples. Here he examines the broad category of camouflage patterns and uniform types used by the German Army and Air Force troops of World War Two, and those post-war patterns that were clearly derived from the Wehrmacht types - some still in use over half a century later. Useful for collectors, uniform historians and military modellers alike, this book aims to resolve the confusion surrounding many of these patterns and garments, and establishes a complete and concise system of identification and terminology.
