Серия цветных иллюстраций Ганса Бургкмайра - младшего, сделанных на основе неопубликованных эскизов отца, известного художника Ренессанса - Ганса Бургкмайра - старшего, сделанных в 1511-1520гг. Бургкмайр - старший, наряду с Альбрехтом Дюрером и Альбрехтом Альтдорфером, подготовил большое количество гравюр на дереве, предназначенных для иллюстрации книги "Триумфы", посвященной Максимилиану I. Серия гравюр, заказанная императором, должна была быть отпечатана в сотнях экземпляров и увековечить память Максимилиана, его семьи и его дел. На гравюрах должна была быть изображена мнимая процессия, воплощающая в себе стремления, достижения и интересы императора. В нее входили различные персонажи: охотники, судебные чиновники, музыканты, шуты, солдаты и др. Император скончался в 1519 году и "Триумфы Максимилиана" не были опубликованны вплоть до 1526. Бургкмайр - младший на основе эскизов отца создал серию цветных иллюстраций с изображениями рыцарей. Иллюстрации отличаются высокой точностью и проработкой деталей. |
