“Triangle (The Iron Triangle)” is a concept film that puts together three masters of Hongkong violent cinema , Tsui Hark (“Once Upon A Time in China”), Ringo Lam (Chow Yun-Fat’s “Full Contact, Prison On Fire 1&2”, Jackie Chan’s “Twin Dragons” and Johnny To (“Election 1 & 2, The Mission, Exiled”), which premiered in Cannes 2007. Each of the directors directed one-third segment of the film, with different script-writers as well, and combined their efforts into one whole complete plot of a 92 minutes thrill ride action film.

Three maestro Chinese action directors - Ringo Lam, Tsui Hark and Johnny To - co-helm the adventure saga Triangle. The film actually constitutes a film serial, divided into thirds, with each filmmaker responsible for one episode. Three drinking buddies, Fai, Sam and Mok are visited one dark and stormy night by a strange old man who dazzles them with the tale of an ancient treasure. The artifact in question - worth untold amounts of money - lies buried beneath an almost impenetrable government facility. The retrieval mission is theirs, if they wish to accept it, and if they can claim the treasure, they get to keep it. Indeed, the "loot" - a magnificent robe of interwoven golden strands, its monetary value inestimable - outstrips everyone's expectations. Tips to watch subtitle .SUB and .IDX format :

VLC Media Player:

1. Keep all the files (.avi, .sub & .idx) in the same folder

2. Play normally with VLC media player , go to VIDEO on top of VLC and choose SUBTITLE TRACK at the dropdown menu and select the appropriate subtitle .

ConverXtoDVD:

1. “Add” the .AVI file from the movie folder into the ConvertXtoDVD (the .IDX and .SUB file extensions should follow automatically providing all of them have the same exact file name). For non techie : FILE-NAME.FILE-EXTENSION

2. “Convert” and “Burn” normally

3. Use the button on your DVD or the remote control to select the appropriate subtitle for your viewing.
