Track 6 was "our song" for me and my soon to be ex-wife, so listening to it hurts a bit. I must say that I have great taste in music AND women. Almost as good as her taste in men. The songwriter is none other than the guy who did Schoolhouse Rock!

In his book, "Jazz Singing" (which is very good), William Friedwald puts this in his batch of 17 or so Desert Island Disks. And he's left, it's great. And, oddly, it's only avalable in a 13-disk box. Why this is not available as a single disk is puzzling. (It was released, though, in Japan some 20+ years ago.)

Here it is with three bonus tracks -- tracks that are unnecessary but not annoying. I recommend that you listen to the actual LP of 12 tracks and ignore the bonuses.
