"I've Got The Music in Me" originally issued as a direct disc recording in 1975, was the most successful audiophile release of all time, having sold more than a quarter of a million copies and exhausting the production capacity of the direct disc. Because of the great public acclaim for this record, not only as a spectacular demonstration tool, but for its popular music, it was recently reissued as an analog record mastered from the live two-track reference tape (Sheffield Treasury ST 200), the same tape which was used to make this Compact Disc. ~ Out of the Liner Notes

....On Monday afternoon the room was full of musicians and music, shortly after that it was Wednesday evening and the album was over. It was all an incredible blur of countless solutions to endless problems... the band earned their name! To make any sense of it you have to play the album. I won't tell you that the band blew their socks off, or that Thelma Houston has more everything than anyone, or that Bill Schnee is the greatest engineer since Casey Jones. I won't even tell you that recording non-stop to a master lacquer produces the most exciting record in the world. I mean... if you can't hear that for yourself, I'm not going to tell you...
