More Karlene Kubat, "The Water Bearer" This is the story of an unusual man who in his early years makes the life-altering decision to give himself over to the service of humanity and the troubled planet. In so doing, he regularly sets foot on the shorter paths to death: regions of growing numbers of oppressed, whose brutal lives he seeks to improve; the constant necessity of his own high exposure; and fierce opposition to the approaching demise of a planet under extreme duress. In his present campaign to bring water to a thirsty and impoverished small country, he takes on both a corrupt government and the ruthless greed of a multinational corporation, both intent upon his final removal.
