More The Tin Star (1957) Directed by Anthony Mann Genre: Western Greed, hate, violence, racism, decency - it's all here in Anthony Mann's underrated Western. Henry Fonda underplays beautifully as the embittered bounty hunter who thinks he's teaching tyro sheriff Anthony Perkins but finds he has much to learn too. Perkins looks slightly out of place out West but Mann makes that work to his advantage as he lets the characters and imagery carry the story.
