More The Gi in Combat: Northwest Europe 1944-45 (Warrior 6507 ) By Steven J. Zaloga This book is a pictorial account of US Army GIs in the European Theater of Operations in Northwest Europe from D-Day to the end of the war in Germany in May 1945. The special focus of this book is on the infantry in its many forms: regular infantry, paratroopers, the armored doughs of the armored infantry battalions, and Rangers. The emphasis here is on photos of Gis in combat to provide military enthusiasts including modelers, collectors, and re-enactors with a wide variety of clear crisp photos showing the range of combat uniforms and equipment of US Army infantry during WWII.
