"This Is Where It Started" is a reissue of the 1964 MGM LP "The Beatles With Tony Sheridan And Their Guests" (released in February 1964) and the pressing is significantly lower quality than the original issue. This is yet another American attempt to cash in on the Beatles' success with the legendary yet obscure Polydor recordings. This album isn't an audiophile pressing, quite the opposite - I'm certain that MGM Records did everything in their power to cut every corner they could in the production of this album. Original issues are commanding crazy money on the collector's market though and this gives fans on a budget the ability to hear the album without going broke.
