Tears for Fears (sometimes abbreviated to TFF) are a popular English pop band formed in the early 1980s by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, which emerged after the dissolution of their first band, the mod-influenced Graduate. They were initially associated with New Wave and the burgeoning wave of synthesiser bands of the early 1980s, but quickly branched out into mainstream chart success. 80's Best!

I still listen to this albun (cd)...i still consider it the best Tears for Fears album ever as well as one of the best albums released in the 80's...just listen to "watch me bleed" and, i believe you'll agree!

First Album Syndrome.

This album is really good! I love first albums. The song writing is to the point and conveys the intended message perfectly, The more I talk The more I say The less you seem to hear I'm speechless in a most peculiar way It's a brilliantly depressing album! Songs start out strong and get more relaxed as the album progresses. if you like pop music (remember some don't) and if you can hear a song under all that 80's production this album is a 'must have!' if you like Gary Numan or the less abstract Devo, Kate Bush, New Order or even stretch to Super Grass style BV's there is a good chance you'll like this. AND NEVER compare Tears for Fears with The Human League, TFT had songs, melody and lyrics! The later had 'Don't You Want Me' Also to mention the well known movie Donnie Darko used a couple of Tears for Fears songs, perhaps they are on a comeback?
