More Concerns computer-based information systems that can affect the decision making behavior of their users. It tells the reader how to describe these systems and how to differentiate one from the other. Its main features are: a broad definition of Decision Support Systems (DSS), a process view of decision making, which leads to viewing DSS as interventions into the processes through which decisions are made, and a descriptive rather than a prescriptive approach.
