Suggests the employment of the author's Collaborative Learning Approach and offers a new chapter on adolescents and adults with cerebral palsy. Abundantly illustrated with halftone photos. Review Comments on the previous edition The third edition of Sophie Levitt’s excellent book will be of interest and indeed is essential reading for anyone involved in the management of cerebral palsies, including parents. Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry Although there are many experienced therapists in the field, there are few who are able to encapsulate their experience in written form. In this respect, Ms Levitt’s book remains fairly unique. By virtue of advocating an eclectic approach, her suggestions should not be taken as prescriptive. Rather they should aid therapists in developing a critical approach to accepted dogma, and provide a rich and pragmatic source of information from which therapists and parents can jointly develop their own eclectic approach in a child-led fashion.
