Selena Gomez’s Naturally Remixes review

Just when fans couldn’t get enough of actress Selena Gomez’s music, her remix album is upon us. Best known for her work as Alex Russo on the Disney hit series “Witches of Waverly Place,” many were introduced to another of Gomez’s creative endeavors: singing. Her debut album, Kiss & Tell, with the second single, “Naturally,” has done very well, continuing the magical touch Disney has had with producing stars and promoting them very successfully.

Nightlife Owls, don’t expect a lot from Gomez’s Naturally Remixes. This is not to say that one won’t enjoy this effort. That is exactly it. This is more of an exposure package of the three DJ’s that produced the sounds for Gomez’s album. This album highlights the varied styles playing to her single “Naturally” and ending finally in the original version of the song.

The first three songs are club, dub, and radio background versions from Dave Aude. His style is very Euro-techno. This stands out throughout his portion of Naturally Remixes. Famous for producing Lady Gaga’s mega hit, “Bad Romance” among others, he combines several genres together in his remixes, which include house, dance, electro, and trance.

Ralphi Rosario brings a Latin flair to the house for Gomez in his rendition. His Big Dub, Mix show, and Radio versions bear this out. He is often credited with coining the phrase “House Music.” Some of his famous producing efforts include Nelly Furtado (“Promiscuous”), Madonna (“Erotica”), and Rod Stewart (“Do You Think I’m Sexy”).

Disco Fries is the 70’s guy. He brings a return to disco, the name gives it away, with very basic beats throughout his extended, dub, and radio work. He has done remixes for a lot of famous artists, such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Usher, along with doing work as an artist, producer, and composer.

Gomez’s Naturally Remixes is a great collection club bangers and ideal to dance to at home or at a party. You even get to hear her single in its original form. Selena Gomez and the Scene with a trio of champion remixers make this a good one if you like something different to go with your fix.
