The first movie directed by Taiwanese musician Jay Chou , Secret (also known as “The Secret That Cannot Be Told” from the direct Chinese translation) is a surreal romantic story between two performance art school piano students. High school student Lun (Jay Chou) just transferred to the school that his father (Anthony Wong) is teaching at. On his first day, he meets cute and coy classmate Yu (Guey Lun Mei) in the piano room. The two immediately hit it off and develop a shy romance around piano playing and bike riding. Despite their close relationship, Yu remains mysterious and distant as she is often absent from school and seems to be full of secrets. When Lun tries to inquire further, she whispers to him that she has a secret that cannot be spoken, a secret that can tear them apart.

The story is about a high school student Lun, whom had studied in the school which coincidentally was where his father was the headmaster. Lun’s piano skill was unmistakably a notch above others. On the first day of school, while walking around the piano rooms, he heard an unknown and alluring melody played by Yu which led him to discovering the existence of her.From then on, the two were always together, which thereafter led to incidents that gradually binded them together. However, Yu seemed to always carry a mysterious aura around her and when Lun tried to get to know her more, she always brushed off his questions by saying that it was a secret.Unfortunately at the later stages , there was a misunderstanding between the both of them, which subsequently led to Yu's disappearance. Lun was heartbroken & tried to locate her whereabouts frantically.But the more he tried to find out, he realized that things were not as they seemed with the chain of events that spiraled along during his search for Yu's whereabouts

Tips to watch subtitle .SUB and .IDX format :

VLC Media Player:

1. Keep all the files (.avi, .sub & .idx) in the same folder

2. Play normally with VLC media player , go to VIDEO on top of VLC and choose SUBTITLE TRACK at the dropdown menu and select the appropriate subtitle .

ConverXtoDVD:

1. “Add” the .AVI file from the movie folder into the ConvertXtoDVD (the .IDX and .SUB file extensions should follow automatically providing all of them have the same exact file name). For non techie : FILE-NAME.FILE-EXTENSION

2. “Convert” and “Burn” normally

3. Use the button on your DVD or the remote control to select the appropriate subtitle for your viewing.
