Scale The Summit can be perceived as many things: young, skilled, ambitious, progressive, instrumental, and unique among many other perceptions. Conceived from the imagination and talent of Chris and Travis, the Los Angeles, CA founded band was born in late 2004. Chris and Travis set out with the objective to create something different, a type of instrumental music that could be widely accessible while not abandoning a technical and melodic foundation. Pat joined the band in March of 2005 adding his own infusion of vigorous percussion and drumming. As the songs continued to develop in August of 2005, Jordan became the newest addition to Scale the Summit as the bass player. The four-piece band emanates an unparalleled musical chemistry including symphonious guitar playing, dynamic bass, and thundering percussion. With solid live performances and a fan following that only shadows the many possiblities and opportunities to come for this band. Scale The Summit has set its mark to enrapture worldwide audiences with their first album release, “Monument”.

This American band was founded in late 2004 by two guitarists - Chris Letchford and Travis LeVrier. Then, the line-up was completed by Patrick Skeffington (drums) and Jordan Eberhardt (bass). "Monument" is their debut release that shows how to go in for progressive mathematics and scale the instrumental summit. Both guitarists play in Chuck Schuldiner's manner, so you can imagine yourself the instrumental version of Death gliding at mid-fast tempos in order to comprehend what I mean. Every track includes a motif which develops gradually what is typical of this kind of music. Despite its complexity and progressive heaviness, the music is also atmospheric and dark a little bit. Their music is twisted and freaky enough, however they do know what melody and accelerations are. In other words, their feats are nor monotonous, neither tiresome. Americans' music requires an intellectual effort, but gets us satisfaction in the final effect. They are omninstrumentalists, so it is worth listening to their stuff!
