Über den Autor

Ulla Fix studierte Germanistik, Anglistik und Erziehungswissenschaft. Nach Promotion und Habilitation sowie Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeit in Leipzig, Halle, Saarbrücken, Bagdad und Helsinki folgte 1992 ihre Berufung als Professorin für die deutsche Sprache der Gegenwart an die Universität Leipzig. Ihre Forschungsgebiete sind Textlinguistik, Stilistik, Semiotik, Sprachkultur, Sprache in der Politik, Beziehungen zwischen Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft, Wissenschaftsgeschichte.
