Japanese horror producer Taka Ichise -- the force behind Ringu and Ju-on: The Grudge -- and Kiyoshi Kurosawa, the director of Pulse, team up for the supernatural horror picture Retribution (aka Sakebi). The plot is about an experienced police detective who is investigating the murder of an unknown woman dressed in a scarlet dress. All the clues he finds relate to h im, which troubles him a lot. Soon, a ghost dressed in a scarlet dress starts to appear before him while more murders are discovered. All the victims were drowned in salt water…

Yoshioka, an experienced police detective, investigates the murder of an unknown woman dressed in a red dress. She was killed by being drowned on the Tokyo waterfront, in a pool of muddy water, but an autopsy reveals that her belly is full of seawater. Moreover, all the clues he finds relate to him: a button found at the murder scene matches one that is missing from one his coat, and fingerprints that cover the body match his own. Yoshioka realizes that the only viable suspect is himself, the problem is that he doesn’t remember a thing. A ghost dressed in a red dress soon starts appearing to him. As these apparitions become more intense and bizarre, more murders appear with the same drowning by salt water. As the later perpetrators are all found easily, a serial killer is ruled out and Yoshioka is stuck with one unsolvable crime that points to him.

2. Play normally with VLC media player , go to VIDEO on top of VLC and choose SUBTITLE TRACK at the dropdown menu and select the appropriate subtitle .

1. “Add” the .AVI file from the movie folder into the ConvertXtoDVD (the .IDX and .SUB file extensions should follow automatically providing all of them have the same exact file name). For non techie : FILE-NAME.FILE-EXTENSION

2. “Convert” and “Burn” normally

3. Use the button on your DVD or the remote control to select the appropriate subtitle for your viewing.
