More Kenneth C Shestak, "Reoperative Plastic Surgery of the Breast" Featuring more than 1,100 full-color and black-and-white illustrations, this volume demonstrates and explains the problems encountered after reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery and breast cancer reconstruction and the most successful methods for correcting these problems. Each chapter begins with a pictorial analysis of the problem, a discussion of what caused it, and, where possible, suggestions on how it might have been avoided initially. The author then describes the plan for revision surgery, details the actual procedure, and examines postoperative outcomes. Summary: A REFERENCE FOR BREAST SPECIALISTS Rating: 5 The main argument of this timely book is unique. There are many other reference books in plastic surgery and breast surgery, but here the author addressed a most detailed description of almost all techniques of reoperative procedures after aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast. As an ocoplastic surgeon, I face in my practice most of the problems incorporated in the book: revision and salvage surgeries after implants, complications in flaps, reoperative surgery after breast reduction and mastopexy. All of them are great challenges for breast surgeons. The specific emphasis in this kind of surgery is of great value to all specialists involved in the management of breast surgery.
