More This figure includes eye exams, other tests, prescriptions, glasses, contacts, lasik, etc. The main reason eye doctors don't tell you about eye exercises and vision training is because it would cut into their profits. Vision Problems May Not Be Permanent. The medical establishment claims vision problems are irreversible. They tell us we can do nothing about poor eyesight. Because it is genetic. Supposedly we are born with bad eyes and must accept it. They tell us the only solution is corrective lenses. (Which do nothing to really correct poor vision.) Or, if appropriate, surgery. (Which can backfire and leave you with more serious vision problems later on. The FDA is currently reinvestigating some of the surgery procedures advertised because of so many consumer complaints.) Glasses, contacts and surgery do work. But only as a temporary fix. A crutch. Without any longlasting benefits. Your eyes get worse no matter what when relying on corrective lenses or surgery. The truth is over 90% of vision problems can be corrected without them. Let me tell you why. Pay close attention because this is important... Most vision problems such as: myopia (nearsightedness)... hyperopia (farsightedness)... presbyopia (aging vision)... and astigmatism may NOT be permanent. These conditions may be relieved and even reversed once you understand the main factors causing poor vision.
