O violonista Rafael Baptista Rabello infelizmente teve vida curta, entretanto, deixou obras brilhantes e deu uma enorme contribuição à música brasileira. Nasceu em Petrópolis 1962 e faleceu em 1995. Tornou-se um ícone do violão brasileiro e influenciou toda uma geração de novos instrumentistas que até hoje se emocionam e vibram com seus arranjos elitizados para choro e MPB, suas especialidades. Tocou violão de 6 durante bom tempo, e depois foi para o de sete. Foi influenciado principalmente pelo choro, e artistas como Villa-Lobos, Radamés Gnattali, Dino 7 Cordas, Garoto, Dilermando Reis e João Pernambuco, Tom Jobim, Capiba e Paco de Lucia. Esta bela releitura de Dilermando Reis, um belo chorão injustiçado em sua época, traz um Raphael magnífico, com total destreza técnica, vivaz em seus acordes arpejados e seu baixo dançante.

This is the second album that our friend guterra sent me for posting here on his behalf. Again, I only had a low bitrate mp3 version and jumped at the chance of getting the music in FLAC. A big THANK YOU to Gustavo for making this available. The rip was also produced before I had a chance to tell him about the need for log and CUE files. But Audiochecker confirms that this is 100% lossless.
