Case studies covered include: Walter Chaplinsky versus New Hampshire (1942); Samuel Roth versus US (1957); Miller versus California (1971); American Booksellers Association versus William Hudnut (1986); Janet Reno versus American Civil Liberties Union (1997); and United States verus Playboy Entertainment Group (2000).
