Lützow (wcześniejsza nazwa Deutschland) – niemiecki okręt pancerny typu Deutschland, klasyfikowany od 1939 jako ciężki krążownik, a potocznie nazywany "pancernikiem kieszonkowym". Zwodowany 19 maja 1931 w stoczni Deutsche Werke w Kilonii, rozpoczął służbę 1 kwietnia 1933.

Książki tej serii zawierają opis historii okrętu, począwszy od założeń projektowych poprzez prototyp aż do ostatecznej jego wersji. Uwzględnione są kolejne przebudowy i remonty, szczegółowe kalendarium okrętu, przebieg bitew, w których uczestniczyła jednostka. Publikacje zawierają również nazwiska kolejnych dowódców. Szczegółowo opisane są malowania i oznakowanie okrętu. Opracowanie ilustrowane jest wieloma zdjęciami i szczegółowymi planami w dużym formacie — w tym przekrojami, rysunkami detali; pokazano także wzory malowań. Opis techniczny okrętu uwzględnia m.in. budowę kadłuba, uzbrojenie, siłownię i kolejne modernizacje okrętu w czasie służby.

Naval Monographs give description of the history of an individual warship or an entire class - starting from the design specifications, up to the final version. Subsequest conversions and repairs are also included. Detailed chronicle of the ship describes its fates - the entire service log from keel laying up until the end of its sea-going life. Separate descriptions are provided for important battles in which the ship took part. Names of commanders, important events and dates are all listed. Detailed description of camouflage and markings of the ship is provided. Books are illustrated with many photos, maps, tables and detailed drawings in large size - including sections, detail drawings and painting patterns. Technical description of the ship includes hull structure, armament, power room and subsequent modifications to the ship during her service. Polish text.
