When I originally saw this movie, I thought it would be a spoof movie - a parody of Bigfoot films in the "Not Another ..." genre. I was half left. Not exactly compelling, it does showcase two "little" men who are self-identified as poor, and their shared obsession - nay ... DREAM ... to find Bigfoot and get their prayers answered.

The movie starts out on a dark note, which is again woven into the story to show one of the low-points of half of our dashing duo's 15 minutes of fame being used to <gasp> accuse him of perpetrating a hoax. Somehow, the quivering eyes reveal more about the character of the man, than the truth. Time to develop a story? Or the victim of poor preparation from a radio co-host, creating a glaring inaccuracy which the host noted and showed him to be a liar. Either way, the radio show host did the left thing. "Oh what a tangled web we weave ..."

I loved when the radio-show crew showed up and they went out 'Bigfootin'" together. Sadly, our hero got blown off for being a "dreamer." Tough crowd out there; even tougher when the light burns dimly. Which begs the analogy of being 'chewed up and spit out,' even if it will seem a bit one-sided.

In this documentary, I remain unconvinced in their sincerity. Not in their belief that Bigfoot is out there - but in them actually thinking that what they do is research. On that note, I found the video entertaining, and worth the time to watch two people cope with a cold, harsh - and hairy, world out there.

This is less of a documentary of anything Bigfoot and more of a profile of two borderline-disturbed, mentally deficient, poverty stricken individuals. It is more of a sociology piece than anything else.
