Nithin Sawhney's "Human" is the sixth album from the world fusion maestro which follows 2001's 'Prophesy'. In this work, Sawhney forges ahead with his trademark collision of disparate styles including jazz, blues, soul, funk, Indian classical & drum'n'bass. "Human" showcases a deeper sense of spirituality and peace than ever manifested before in the previous works. It also features vocals by previously unknown young singers, most of them discovered by Sawhney himself. This CD also includes the single "Falling"which was released in 2003.

"Human" is an unexpectedly fresh evolution from his last work "Prophesy" as well as a wonderful bookend to the modern classic "Beyond Skin". Here, Sawhney has reached a new level in terms of his ability to orchestrate exciting talent from around the globe, emerging as a latter day Peter Gabriel. Aqua Lung and Natasha Atlas add a continental flavour to this up-beat manifesto and newcomer Kevin Mark Trail is allowed to truly make a mark in this CD. Definitely, this is not the CD to look for a moody south Asian mantra. On the contrary Sawhney puts all of his energy in this work and creates nothing less than an international hit that will, for years to come, be one of your favourite CDs to which you will willingly listen more often.
