More Natural Killer Cell Protocols is a worthwhile addition to the reference collection of an academic library that serves scientists who are conducting research on NK cells, lymphocytes, cancer, and/or viral infections. It is well representative of the previous volumes in the Methods in Molecular Biology series and therefore is an important acquisition for libraries collecting the series in its entirety. - E-Streams (Electronic Reviews of Science and Technology References "Besides clearly describing each step in the assays, the very detailed protocols point out potential trouble spots and provide those small points that make a technique workable. The chapters are generally well written and informative. Experimental procedures are presented in great detail, which should be very helpful for those who are unfamiliar with the methodologies involved. An especially useful feature is the inclusion of notes at the end of each chapter in which potential problems and pitfalls are describe and methods for dealing with them are suggested. The appendices provide a handy summary of monoclonal antibodies and cell lines that are commonly used in NK cell studies. this book is an excellent compendium of laboratory methods relevant to research on NK cells.
