Digital Bass (984MB)
As we're massive fans of warm, analogue bass sounds, we occasionally forget that digital synths can be equally capable of making earth-shattering bass tones. To prove this point, the experts at PinkNoise Studio have risen to the challenge and programmed 15 multisampled bass sounds using an array of digital hardware synths. You'll find punchy, electro slap bass sounds from the Yamaha DX-7, tight and squelchy hits from the Waldorf Microwave XT, resonant sweeps from the Nord Lead 2, and some distorted squeals from the Korg Triton. The sounds are presented as high-quality 24/44.1 and super
-high-quality 24/96 audio, with additional patches for both Reason's NN-XT sampler and NI's Kontakt.
RnB & Pop Construction Kits (296MB)
Pop and RnB production styles can vary massively from track to track, but often feature tight drum sounds with a number of layered instruments and parts to create a larger, fuller sound. This month's pack from Equinox Sounds features six construction kits for writing RnB, soul, pop and hip hop tracks, with a range of electronic and live-sounding beats, soulful keys and organ parts, deep bass patterns and smooth synths lines. All of the parts are provided in WAV and Apple Loops formats and the kits go from 75-111BPM.
Prime Loops: Piano Ballads, Vox & More (152MB)
Prime Loops has once again compiled a range of top samples and loops taken from their latest releases. To accompany the review in this month's Mini Reviews you'll find some beautifully played piano ballads on classical piano and organ. There are also some big shout-outs from Rasta Vocal Samples 3, processed effects in Epic Build-Ups & Breakdowns 2, upfront synths and beats in R&B Dance Anthems 3, plus rump-shaking house beats in Tropical ShakeUp. Finally, there are raw-sounding drum loops and aggressive bass sounds taken from Ultimate Dubstep Drummer and UK Bass Anthems.
Logic Pro Production Tips (336MB)

It's presented by Ian Sherwin, who has worked with Primal Scream, Stereophonics and La Roux to name but a few.
