Heute bereist er als vielgefragter Vortragender vor allem Westeuropa, die USA und muslimische Staaten. Dr.Hofmann konvertierte 1980 zum Islam und veröffentlichte seither zahlreiche Aufsätze und Bücher über interkulturelle und -religiöse Themen.
