More Francois Verlinden - Military Vehicles Vol. II - Building, Detailing, Painting and Weathering The positive response to MILITARY VEHICLES Vol.I has prompted the publication of this all new Vol.II. Like Vol.I, this book captures in beautiful full color photography the delicate art of building, detailing, painting, and weathering of scale plastic military vehicles. Vol.II features nine new subjects, all finished by the master modelers at VP Studios. The articles include features documenting the “weathering” of Dragon’s T-26E3 General Pershing, detailing the Academy M18 Hellcat inside-out, and doing a VP conversion of a bergepanzer from Italeri’s Panzer IV. Five articles are devoted to superdetailing, painting, and “weathering” some of Tamiya’s prizewinning plastic kits, including the M8 “Greyhound”, M20 Armoured Car, Sturmtiger, Kubelwagen, and a SAS conversion for the beautiful newly-tooled jeep in 1:35 scale. A bonus article deals with techniques used to blend a vehicle with its terrain. In all, this is an inspiring and informative book in an exciting new series of modeling books from Verlinden Publications.
