Enric Si¨® (Badalona, 1942-Barcelona, 1998) ha sido, como la gran mayor¨ªa de su generaci¨®n, uno de esos talentos¨ªsimos dibujantes espa?oles m¨¢s reconocidos en el exterior que en su propio pa¨ªs.

En 1967 public¨® en la revista Oriflama la serie Lavinia 2016. Entre 1969 y 1970 dibuj¨® Aghardi, que fue publicada en Italia, al igual que buena parte de su producci¨®n posterior.

Su obra representa uno de los primeros acercamientos del c¨®mic espa?ol a la tem¨¢tica de la sociedad contempor¨¢nea.

Particularmente, en este ¨¢lbum se pueden apreciar sus continuas b¨²squedas gr¨¢ficas, acerc¨¢ndose a diversos movimientos estil¨ªsticos del siglo que le toc¨® vivir, desde el art-noveau al expresionismo.

Pero Mara es mucho m¨¢s que una exhibici¨®n de destreza del dibujante. Sus guiones no estuvieron puestos solo al servicio de su arte, sino, fundamentalmente, para reflejar, a trav¨¦s de un lenguaje tan rebuscado y simb¨®lico como su grafismo, su propia percepci¨®n de la sociedad que le rodeaba.
