The book is rich in guidelines, roadmaps, and some diagnostic quick-quizzes. It works extremely well as a how-to handbook for managers seeking to understand issues and strengthen motivation. An extended seven-part case provides a theme throughout the chapters. An appendix provides an example result of the authors' approach to assessing motivation. Very highly recommended.
