More Murtaza Mutahhari, "" About the Author Martyr Murtada Mutahhari ranks among one of the most dynamic and effective scholars of recent times. He was born in 1920 in Fariman, one of the cities of the Khurasan province in Iran. He studied under great masters of his time like the eminent scholar Allama Tabatabai and the late leader of Islamic revolution - Imam Khomeini. He was over 23 seminal works to his credit, and ranks among one of the great Muslim revolutionaryintellectuals of his time. The activities of this scholar were intolerable for the followers of the atheistic schools and they, therefore, decided to remove him from the scene by terroristic methods. Eventually they assassinated him on May 1 , 1979. His martyrdom was indeed a great tragedy to the intellectual world. Download FREE Please appreciate my work, download from my references!!! He was not that talented as some used to believe and as it is explained here. His ideas and thoughts have been challenged for long and in this time, over 30 years after the supposedly Islamic revolution, his words have turned out to be wrong and misleading on several fronts and that means, he didn't really know what he was talking about. Still, it is interesting to have his works in other languages, thanks for sharing. About the other words of this introduction: He by no means was a pioneer in any school of thought or so. (I say it because I have read most of his works and if you look into today's school of thoughts, barely anyone mentions him) He was not murdered by atheistic groups but by Islamic ones. His murder was a coward job and condemned by all means. Nobody knows into what he would have turned after so many years. We have witnessed radical changes of supposedly scholar people into tyrants and stupid blood thirsty beings. He might not have gone that far but from what we see today, nothing was guaranteed!
