Magazine Lobo Compilation

More Lobo Compilation Lobo is a fictional character in the comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in the Green Lantern spin-off Omega Men 3 (June 1983), and was created by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen. In that setting Lobo, a Velorpian whose entire race had been exterminated by Psions, works as an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter. Although introduced as a hardened, rarely-used noir villain in the 1980s, he languished in limbo until his revival as an anti-hero biker in the early 1990's. The character enjoyed a short run as one of DC’s most popular characters throughout the 1990s. After a well-received appearance in Justice League International, Lobo became a regular character in L.E.G.I.O.N. and its successor series R.E.B.E.L.S. In 1990, he appeared in his own miniseries, Lobo: The Last Czarnian, plotted by Giffen, written by Alan Grant and with art by Simon Bisley, in which his origin story was retconned: he became the last Czarnian after violently killing every other member of the species. This version of Lobo was intended to be an over-the-top parody of Marvel Comics superhero Wolverine (in issue 41 of Deadpool, another Marvel series, Lobo himself was parodied in the likeness of Dirty Wolff, a large blue skinned man who drove a demonic motorcycle). A sick, demented alien Snake Plissken--fraggin' terrific. Grant's humor and Bisley's art helped to make the initial four-issue miniseries a hit, leading to many subsequent miniseries and specials. From 1993 to 1999 Lobo starred in his own series that ran for 64 issues--66, if you count the 2 specials, issue 0 "Reservoir Mooks" published between issues 9 and 10, and issue 1000000 published between issues 56 and 57. The latter is a part of the "DC One Million" event that crossed over into every DC Title in 1998. It involved present-day interaction with versions of the characters seen in contemporary comic books with their counterparts in the 853rd Century. Issue 0 is included here, but unfortunately, issue 1000000 is not.
This compilation consists only of Lobo feature titles, i.e., books where Lobo appears on the title and is featured as, or one of, the main protagonists. Perhaps later I can make a compilation of the rest of the comic book titles where Lobo makes a guest appearance. You may find more-or-less complete listings of Lobo's appearances--including all the covers and specific issue titles @http://www.comicvine.com/lobo/29-6578/ or @http://comicbookdb.com/character.php?ID=218. I sorted the various titles accordingly then packed them into RAR archives. Current bandwidth problems preclude me from uploading files of large size so I've kept the packs to within a certain size limit. I also included in this compilation the oddity Lobo the Duck published by Amalgam Comics, the imprint that was a collaboration between DC and Marvel, toward the end of the series of DC and Marvel crossovers.
