More Frank Goosen “" Mit viel Witz, Ironie und Musik erzählt Frank Goosen von den Mühen des Erwachsenwerdens in einer mühelosen Zeit. Helmut ist 16 Jahre alt, besucht die Oberstufe eines Gymnasiums, hat Freunde, aber keine Freundin, Eltern, die nicht miteinander reden und eine Mutter, die immer nur wissen möchte, was er eigentlich will. Vom Leben, zum Beispiel. Wenn er das nur selbst so genau wüßte. Seine lakonische Selbsteinschätzung - drogenabstinenter, hetereosexueller Nichtdemonstrierer - empfiehlt ihn als sympathisches Rollenmodell der frühen 80er: so wenig Engagement wie nötig, so viel Leben (lassen) wie möglich. Helmut hört Platten von den Beatles und Dylan, tanzt zu Madness und Fischer Z, trägt wie alle anderen Bäckerhosen und verliebt sich in die Schulsprecherin Britta. Ihr zuliebe engagiert er sich in der Nicaragua-Gruppe, sie führt den kleinbürgerlichen, aber immer etwas schüchternen Jungen in die Liebe ein. Zur ersten Liebe aber gehört auch die erste Enttäuschung. Und so erzählt Helmut rückblickend sein Leben als die Suche nach der einzigen Frau, die ihm etwas bedeutet, während seine amourösen Abenteuer ihn in Wirklichkeit kalt lassen. Mit trockenem Humor und entwaffender Ehrlichkeit trifft Frank Goosen das Lebensgefühl der "Generation Golf". "Liegen Lernen" ist ein verblüffend leicht geschriebener und mit viel Musik orchestrierter Roman über die Liebe und die Schwierigkeit, erwachsen zu werden. "
