More L'ouvrage « Phytocosmétologie thérapeutique » est un ouvrage concernant la cosmétologie réparatrice. Cette cosmétologie est vue avec les yeux du médecin spécialisé en phytothérapie. L'auteur précise que la cosmétologie réparatrice comporte trois volets principaux : le diagnostic de perturbation de la peau et des phanères, le traitement externe avec des substances naturelles, ainsi qu'un abord du traitement par la voie orale (traitement interne). La cosmétologie orale n'a pas de reconnaissance officielle, or les effets d'extraits de plantes sur l'état de la peau ou des phanères sont bien connus. Après une introduction à la physiologie de la peau, à la galénique et aux phénomènes de détérioration de la peau, l'auteur aborde différents types de traitement par différents types d'extraits tout en expliquant leur mode d'action. Il a établit une « matière médicale » des substances naturelles efficaces dans le domaine de la cosmétologie réparatrice.
