Die Bedingungen lassen sich mittels gängiger Standard-Software überprüfen.Standortentscheidungen gehören zu den wichtigsten strategischen Entscheidungen eines Unternehmens. Auf Grund ihres langfristigen Charakters muss dabei einerseits eine sich über die Zeit ändernde Datenkonstellation und andererseits die durch unumgängliche Datenschätzungen induzierte Unsicherheit berücksichtigt werden. Matthias Maßmann integriert beide Aspekte in ein stochastisch-dynamisches Facility-Location-Modell. Mit Hilfe der Lagrange-Relaxation und der stochastisch-dynamischen Optimierung werden auf analytische Art und Weise relativ einfache und plausible Regeln abgeleitet, an Hand derer zu jedem Zeitpunkt entschieden werden kann, ob ein Standort geschlossen oder eingerichtet werden soll.
