A self-paced multimedia tutorial designed to teach the basics of biblical Hebrew. You will begin by learning how to pronounce and write Hebrew letters. Then move at your own pace through 14 sections covering the alphabet, vowels, nouns, prepositions, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, imperatives, infinitives and participles. Review what you have learned with review sections, vocabulary builder, interactive drills and exercises, and an interactive translation of the book of Ruth.

Please review the following information before starting Hebrew Tutor.

System Requirements and Picture Resolution Update:

Hebrew Tutor requires a 256-color display monitor with resolution set at 640 X 480. If a color display other than 256 is used, some of the Hebrew letters in the charts may appear truncated. Since the printing of the manual, it was discovered on several different machines that a 640 x 480 resolution is better than 800 x 600.

If the buttons on your Table of Contents screen appear out of alignment, or the screen appears off-left, the resolution may need to be reset. For information on checking or changing the resolution of your picture, refer to the User's Guide or other documentation that came with your video card or computer monitor.

NOTE: The program also requires that text be displayed in Times New Roman font. If you don't have this font -- in regular, bold, bold italic, and italic -- on your system, you'll need to install it before you can use Hebrew Tutor. These fonts come with Microsoft Windows (TM).

Remarks: Use Alcohol 120 or the like to install&run.

Windows( 95/98/ME/2000/XP Home/XP Pro/or NT 4.0 or later. Not sure about Windows 7/ Pentium II or higher / 5 MB of available hard disk space.
