For the Germans and Serbians, Lawlor takes on a generic foreign accent--good enough for listeners to appreciate the non-Americans speaking. His diction is crisp and clear, even for the many foreign words and names. Since the story is little known and simply told, anyone looking for a good audiobook with lots of action and information will find this worthwhile.
