The upper receiver, lower receiver, magazine, and folding buttstock are made of high stregth polymer. The UMP allows single fire, limited bursts, or fully automatic fire to be fired from all positions. The UMP is a simple blowback operated weapon with fixed barrel. The UMP offers maximum safety and accuracy as it fires from the closed bolt position. The UMp is easily disassembled into its main assembly grups for cleaning and care without the use of tools.
