This collection of 11 tracks recorded by French DJ Emanuel Santarromana is an ambient soundtrack to the beautiful city of Paris, as experienced through such musical offerings as "Metropolitain," "Barbes," "Pere Lachaise" and "Montmartre."

Santarromana's first formal full length solo collection arrives after having DJ'd 5 years in the French electronic scene and after curating 2 successful collections for fashion designer Barbara Bui. For his own project, he takes the listener on an aural metro (the Paris subway) tour of the capital city with stops at the major arrondisments (districts). The tracks of this disc are as diverse as the city itself, highlighted by "Opera" (featuring a rendition of Vivaldi's "Nisi Dominus", the hip-hop atmosphere of "Les Halles" (featuring rapper Mike Ladd), the Arabic nature of "Barbes" and Africana of "Chateau Rouges", the melancholic pop of "Pere LaChaise" and of course, the jazz that is only natural in the air at "Saint Germain-des-Pres". This disc is as charming and alluring as the city itself and paints an audio portrait of one of the world's greatest urban centers of culture. It is to be treasured by native and visitor (and potential visitor) alike!
