Montserrat Caballé was in magnificent form. The warmth and range of the voice seduce the listener even if her acting ability does not go beyond the stretching out of either one arm or the other to the left or left. Gianni Raimondi has finally managed to discipline his vocal powers; there were none of the usual moments of uncertainty or lack of cleanliness in attack and at the top.
