Dolphin and Wales 3D is the newest production of the trilogy produced in 2008 and the most ambitious. It took three years to capture all the images involving 12 expeditions and 600 hours in the water all condensed into a 42 minute long film! It takes viewers into an immersive and highly emotional odyssey for a close encounter with the surviving tribes of the ocean. Stunning images of dolphins, belugas, orcas, humpback whales and their calves, captured for the very first time in 3D allows them to discover their lives and habitats as never before seen.

Dolphins and Whales 3D has an IMDB review score of 5.5/10 out of 59 votes.

All three titles were directed by Jean-Jacques Mantello who, since 1986, has been in charge of over 30 3D projects worldwide. He is also an experienced diver, the perfect person to direct 3D underwater documentaries!

Each documentary is sold separately and I think it would have been a good idea to bundle the three titles together because choosing one of the three titles could be tricky. Each 3D Blu-Ray includes a 2D Blu-Ray version too which you could have course give to a friend.

If you are a 3DTV owner and have a space in your limited 3D Blu-Ray collection for a high quality documentary which was produced before the 3D boom (and therefor not something that has been rushed to market) you could do alot worst than buying these.
