Mahy, Marc H.V. van Regenmortel, "Desk Encyclopedia of General Virology" This volume, derived from Encyclopedia of Virology, provides an overview of the development of virology during the last ten years. Entries detail the nature, origin, phylogeny and evolution of viruses. It then moves into a summary of our understanding of the structure and assembly of virus particles and describes how this knowledge was obtained. Genetic material of viruses and the different mechanisms used by viruses to infect and replicate in their host cells are highlighted. The volume is rounded out with an overview of some major groups of viruses with particular attention being given to our current knowledge of their molecular biology. I am seeing that there are wonderful books on 'protocols and methods in Molecular Biology' being published by the springer/humana press been available for download at the site. > > > > Since it is impossible for me and many other new commers to download all the practical books from the Internet at one go and many of whom the links are not working, i want to request you all to post a combined collection of all volumes of the biotech/life science based protocols, methods in Molecular Biology' available at the Internet or only at avaxhome (you all must be having at least a copy of books). > > > > It would be very easy for all of us to download them all in one go with zip files of 100mb each like the one we see at the wallpapers section at avaxhome (combined webshots premium collection).
